Salt Lake City, UT, December 7, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Cold Creek Behavioral Health Expands To Be One Of The Largest Treatment Centers in Utah. Cold Creek Behavioral health now operates 6 treatment locations around the state of Utah, making it one of the largest treatment businesses in the state.
Starting in February of 2009, when Cold Creek opened their first center in Kaysville, UT named Cold Creek Wellness Center, they have been providing Utah with non-12 step addiction treatment. "We opened Cold Creek Wellness Center in Kaysville, UT as a way to provide more effective addiction treatment in Northern Utah and throughout the nation," said Tyler Dallas, Administrator of Cold Creek Behavioral. They now provide long term recovery at this residential home, allowing them to server the community in a way that was not possible prior to their opening.

As true recovery doesn't stop at residential treatment, in May of 2009, Tyler Dallas opened another location in Kaysville to service the people once they leave his residential center, Cold Creek Outpatient.
"Providing outpatient treatment was part of our original plan. From the beginning, we understood our clients needed long term treatment to succeed. Offering outpatient treatment is part of a comprehensive long term treatment solution. When we opened our outpatient program in 2009 there was very few outpatient options in Northern Utah. Offering this less intensive level of care to individuals in the early stages of addiction helps reduce the need to inpatient treatment and more costly interventions. Treating someone early before they lose everything to addiction prevents a lot of suffering for individuals and families," said Mr. Dallas.
After 2 years saving the lives of countless people through their residential and outpatient rehab centers, Mr. Dallas decided, in 2011 to open up a sober living facility to provide a safe place for their alumni to live. "As we evaluated our treatment outcomes we identified that many of our clients did not have a safe, supportive living arrangements. Too often, this lack of stability in early recovery undermines sobriety. We opened our sober living to broaden our comprehensive addiction treatment options and we are committed to seeing our clients' succeed," said Mr. Dallas.
Next came Cold Creek Lodge in Brighton, UT in July of 2014. We asked Mr. Dallas why open another center. He said, "After six years of success we were interested in opening another in-patient treatment program. Based on our treatment outcomes we felt confident that our addiction treatment approach was working. Most important, we had a continuing desire to offer Cold Creek’s comprehensive evidence based addiction treatment model to as many people as possible." The lodge was purchased and was made into Cold Creek Behavioral Health's second residential treatment center to serve Utah and the nation as a whole.
Just as before, with the massive success of the residential center in Brighton, Mr. Dallas and the team opened up a outpatient treatment center in Salt Lake City, UT. As before, this outpatient program supports those who complete the residential treatment at Cold Creek Lodge as well as the population of Salt Lake City.
Mr. Dallas told us, "In November of 2014 we opened our Salt Lake City outpatient day treatment and intensive outpatient programs in Holladay Utah. This program supports the clients who transition from the Lodge and provides a comprehensive non-12 step evidence based programs for clients in the Salt Lake City area. Offering this less intensive level of care to individuals in the early stages of addiction helps reduce the need to inpatient treatment and more costly interventions. Treating someone early before they lose everything to addiction prevents a lot of suffering for individuals and families."
Finally, to help provide, as they did in Kaysville, a safe environment for clients leaving their residential program, as well as others in the community, Cold Creek opened Cold Creek Sober Living Salt Lake in February 2016.
"We opened our sober living apartments in Holladay, UT to complete our comprehensive treatment offerings for central and southern Utah. This shows our commitment to providing every level of treatment to support recovery. When we opened our Separate Male and Female Sober living apartments in Holladay, UT Cold Creek because the largest provider of sober living apartments in Utah. As we evaluated our treatment outcomes, we identified that many of our clients did not have a safe, supportive living arrangements. Too often, this lack of stability in early recovery undermines sobriety. We opened our sober living to broaden our comprehensive addiction treatment options and we are committed to seeing our clients' succeed," said Mr. Dallas.
Cold Creek Behavioral Health has shown, through the years that they are here to help the population of Utah that is struggling with addiction. They are doing so in a non-12 step way, opening up their availability to everyone in need.
