The Addiction Advocates Starts Review Services to Help People Seeking Treatment for Addiction

The Addiction Advocates, an advocacy group for those suffering from addiction, has launched its "rehab reviews" pages. Providing those looking into specific rehab centers an honest review, pulled from multiple sources.

Marcus Hansen, the Founder of The Addiction Advocates, said, " There are plenty of reviews sites out there.  A few of them are very good.  However, people have a hard time sifting through all the sites to find what really matters.  So, we created a hybrid of sorts. We take the reviews from many review sites and the comments and reviews left by past clients and put them all into one, easy to read review."

Mr. Hansen told us that when he had to look for treatment centers for his best friend he got confused and it was difficult to understand what was paid for and what was truthful. "I just wanted a simple place to read reviews that I could trust. So, after a few years, we built one for people that are struggling."

As of now, there are selected states with reviews, however, the most are in California.  Mr. Hansen told us they are launching the reviews on a daily basis, but are trying to review the most common centers first.

The Addiction Advocates is a non-profit organization focused on helping people get into treatment.  They provide you with the understanding of the process, review your insurance benefits with you, and provide options based on the client's specific needs for recovery.  They are a free service, that works with people across the entire country.
